I saw one of the photos you just posted and looked at the rest you have, and you have got a great gallery! Very gritty in a good way.

I've been having the same problems lately with taking digital pictures of b/w prints. I'm definitely no photographer but I figured out how to make the pictures look a little better on the computer. For my last bunch I opened the digital file in photoshop (I'm sure any image editor would work), copied the whole thing into a grayscale file because they all seemed tinted orange or red from the incandescent lights, and then used auto contrast. I hope that helps a little! I'd like to see your photos in their full glory:)
:iconmindcrawl:
you're whole gallery is showing some really outstanding prints. i gotta link your pictures. excellent work!
:icondpndnt:
good to hear! I miss film so much. I started shooting medium format earlier this year, but it's not entirely the same when you're just taking it into a place.
:icondpndnt:
I have certainly seen the rise and fall of my own life, but recently there have been a few changes that I think is going to turn it all back around.
:icondpndnt:
I need to get out to the coast to shoot happier coast pictures -- that shot is actually just on a river, so since I know that, I have no interest in being there.

How've you been?
